The people, schools and causes we’re proud to get behind — across the Bay of Plenty and beyond.
At JV Financial Services, looking after people doesn’t stop at financial advice. We’re proud to get behind the families, schools, sportspeople and community groups that make our region a better place to live. Here are a few of the people and causes we’re supporting.
Together, the two events raised an incredible $6,032 for the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ — made possible by the generosity of everyone involved.
We are thrilled to have sponsored the Wild Flowers Connect Pink Ribbon events in Auckland and Tauranga this year. Standing alongside such a wonderful community of women, supporting a cause so close to many hearts, is something we are truly proud to be part of.
At JV Financial Services, we believe in the strength of community. A heartfelt congratulations to the Wild Flowers Connect team, and we look forward to continuing to support the important work you do.

At JV Financial Services, we love supporting our local community and creating opportunities for young people to get involved in fun activities. Our recent Easter Colouring Competition was a fantastic success, and we were thrilled to see so many students from One Tree Point Primary School take part.
The competition attracted an incredible number of entries across multiple age categories, with children showcasing their creativity, imagination, and artistic talent. The standard was so high that selecting winners was no easy task.
To recognise the wonderful effort put in by the students, we awarded prizes to three winners in each age category. Every winning entry stood out for its creativity, attention to detail, and colourful design.
A big thank you also goes to the teachers, staff, and families who supported the competition. We are proud to support local schools and families, and we look forward to running more community events in the future.

We are proud to support Jack van Rooyen as he continues to excel in his hockey journey.
Jack has been a member of his school’s First XI hockey team since Year 9 at just 12 years old and has represented the Tauranga Under-16 Representative Team for the past two years. One of his biggest achievements to date has been being selected for The Force, one of only four Under-16 boys’ teams nationwide chosen to compete at the Hockey Experience Tournament.
Alongside his representative hockey, Jack has also been competing in top-level men’s hockey at his local club for several years. His passion, dedication, and commitment to the sport are evident in everything he does.
We are honoured that Jack proudly represents JVFS Workspace as his sponsor and look forward to seeing what he achieves next.

There’s something special about seeing New Zealand through fresh eyes. This week we had the pleasure of taking a group of newcomers out on the water for a day on Tauranga Harbour — and what a day it was.
With Mauao standing watch over the entrance and the harbour stretching out calm and blue, it was the kind of afternoon that reminds you why so many people choose to make the Bay of Plenty their home. There were plenty of smiles, a few cameras working overtime, and the easy conversation that comes when good people share a good day.
For many of our newer arrivals, settling into a new country is about more than the practical details. It’s about feeling that you belong. We’re proud to play a small part in that — not just as advisers, but as neighbours who genuinely care about the people we work with.
To everyone who joined us: thank you for a memorable day. Here’s to many more.

Whether it’s out on the water, in the classroom, on the hockey turf or alongside the people who make our region special, we’re proud to play our part. Giving back to our community is simply part of who we are at JV Financial Services — and we look forward to supporting many more people and causes in the years ahead.
